Any crap?

Forgive me for quoting from Avril. Hahaha.

It's been about two weeks now since SPM's over. At the beginning part of me just have this urge to not sit at home and go out and work or get my driving license or something. Now after two weeks of lazing around, watching what i want to watch, read what i want to read, and basically just do what i want, i'm really starting to regret accepting the temporary job from my mum to work in her office which btw, will start about the 15th of dec. GAAAAHHH. I'm not done lazing around yettttt!!! lazing around and doing what i want to do is just seriously the best damn thing! and i'm about to destroy it myself by working! hopefully the monehhh will be enough to blind me from my misery. Sighhh...

on another note, did ya noe how much pain a small paper cut can cause?? Got one the other day on my right middle finger. Goshhh, it not only freaking hurts, but it itches too! thank god it's fine now.Grr, i hate papercuts.

Oh gosh, i'm going to go for the undang course/lecture next thursday. possibly sitting for the test as well on the same day? Not sure, but urgh, the guy from the driving school gave me a book filled with 500 questions about the driving theory test. i'm only at question 66 now! GAHHHH. So lazy lar to study again. There are just so many road signs and it's sorta hard to differentiate some of them and what they mean. And the answers given are just so wrong sometimes. Driving myself nuts even before the test! Hopefully it's as easy as rumoured.

Any crap?

For the past ~~one~~ few days, i feel like i've been slaving around the house which is the reason why i haven't been updating this place here. Okay, maybe i'm exegerrating just a teeny-weeny itsy-bitsy bit, but since yesterday i've been put in charge of a 4 year old active little male cousin of mine, Nicolas! I have to bathe him, force him to drink his milk (a specially hard task in the mornings >.<, feed him his medicine, play with him (which is pretty tiring), feed him food (and worry that he's not eating enough cuz he just doesn't eat anything else except soup and rice!), calm him down when he's crying, scold and threaten him when he gets naughty and get him into his afternoon nap (which i failed yesterday and triumped today!>>that's y i could take some time out now). Phew, i feel like a nanny! I still have about half a day now and a full day tomorrow, but it's always easier when he takes his afternoon naps. ~~Hoping that he'd sleep for another hour so that i cud watch some tv!~~

Oh man. he's awake.

P.S. : oh yeahh, prom is this friday!!>.<!!

Seeing this on my desktop wallpaper makes me happy. Usually I have a long list of things there before this, like 'Study.Study.Study.Darn.','Bio homework','Go tuition',and etc. But since SPM days were over, i've cleaned up my widget's list and ta-daa! I have nothing to do! YAY!....

(how far from reality.)

And yepp, so prom's over. Soree I couldn't even provide details of my 'preparation' for it before the big event actually happened, but I had Nicolas to keep me busy to actually have time to write something about it here.

So how extensive was my preparation? Hahah, judge for yourself.

I....painted my nails.

(not as pink and disgusting as the last time. This time i specially went to buy it myself. Just transparent and slightly shimmery, that's all)

I....removed my leg hair with Veet.

(well, i usually do this for any big events which involves me wearing a skirt/dress)

I....went to cut a fringe.

(I haven't had a fringe for a million years, i think. I thought that prom would be a good excuse for me to go and cut it once and for all. But guess what, i have a hate-love relationship with it now. It's just....*shrugs* but not that bad at the same time.)

I....went to trial-style my hair a day before prom.

(What?? I know, i know, maybe it's a lil' too much. But i just wanted to make sure i'd look okay in the hairsytle my eldest sis suggested from a mag. But in the end, it was worth it, cuz on the real day, i was all set in saying what kind of hair style i want! ~~unlike others,hehe~~)

I....borrowed a brand-new white dress from my mum.

(And my period came a day before prom! What a surprise,huh? But i wore it anyway! I just happen to frequent the toilets a lot, that's all. Hahha. And guess what? in the end, the dress made me looked fat!Not that i'm not already.>.<'')

I....borrowed a pair of really high heels from my 2nd sis.

(And it was my first time wearing such high heels! Gawd, it hurt so much after i came back. Me and vien even took the liberty of wasting part of rm75 for the prom by strutting through gurney plaza's outdoor areas when things were slightly boring upstairs. At the end of the day when my mum and dad came to pick me up and saw the way I walked in the heels, she said I walked like something invisible are tying my legs and i looked like i was about to fall anytime! and there were hundreds of people hanging out at gurney that night! how embarrasing! I should've worn my own pair of slightly lower heels instead.*smacks myself*)

I....spent about rm 35 bucks for my hair on the next day.

(and it turned out not bad! but i was pissed cuz out of 5 of my friends including me who went to the salon to get our hair done, i was somehow the last! maybe i was sensitive, but i sat there for an awfully long time before someone actually came to wash my hair after she did my friend's hair for a long time. Grr. ~~Dammit, i'm angsty and i think that the world is against me.)~~

I....learnt to make-up for myself for the first time from my eldest sis.

(If i had the pros to do the make-up for me, it would've costed me about another rm 30 bucks. So in the end, i begged my sis for some lessons instead! And it turned out really nice, at least to me It was light and simple, just like how i wanted it to be. Too bad it was too light that it was out not even halfway through prom. But it was weird using the eyelash curler. I always wondered what would happen if i pulled while i was at it. hahahaha, stupid me. I even put on some mascara! but my stubborn eyelashes just refused to be curled. >.<'')

I wonder if that's all but it's all i could crap out at the moment.

Overall, preparing for prom had been a hectic, costly, narcissistic, troublesome but still enjoyable experience!
