Mood swings.never believed in those until these few days.

It's been kinda since i've posted and now i jz had drag my lazey fingers across the keyboard to type this out.and what's worse,no updates on translation requests!!aah...for those of u who are annoyed,i'm soree.i'm jz so indescribable nowadays that i can;t even find a good excuse to tell u guys why i havent been translating anything recently.not to say i'm not interested anymore,but i jz have to find the time for it.but anyway,i did translate a song the other day by 183 Club called Zai Yi Bian or smth....so,erm,jz wait up a couple of days more and u might jz see more updates. aah...been crazee saving up scanlations of saiyuki's manga lately too,btw.hehe.gotta love hakkai and tenpou!nvr seen such cool characters!

I stared out of the window to the blue sky one day in the car when coming back from school.Can't help but notice how fluffy and soft looking they are,arranged randomly across the skies,hiding the horizon.There were just so much of clouds that day that it practically decorated the whole entire sky.So much that it almost looked fake,like a million packets of decolourized cotton candy strewn all over the skies by someone.Sometimes things can look just so fake but they're actually real in the end.So fake and yet so real,i don't even know what to believe in anymore.As Dad drove beside me,he noted suddenly that it should rain soon.And then a small itch came from right below my knee...ah.A mosquito bite.and another one,and another one,and yet another one.and then i jerk awake from stupid thoughts,...Ah,these thick clouds indicate nothing... except that i'm gonna be somebody's supply of food for the next few days....until the rain stops.

Guang Liang & Jiang Mei Qi - Dui Ni You Gan Jue

hahahaha...pardon the stupiakkk title translation (not the lyrics translation plz..the song is damn damn nice....!

that's btw,the name of the patriotic concert i went last Saturday,in Esplanade Penang.and with the word 'patriotic' mentioned,dun even think of anything that has to do with lame malay songs like 'Keranamu' or 'Jalur Gemilang'...think of Danny Wen Li Ming,Yu Heng,Pin Guan,Daniel Lee,Penny Tai,Lin Yu Zhong,Cao Ge,Ah Niu and many more instead.Yupp,the first ever chinese malaysian patriotic concert!!how cool is that??And woohhh...it's gotta be one of the best concerts i've ever been....!(aah well..i've only been to,erm...2 concerts like this before..so..heh.)

guang liang was supposed to go too,but too bad,he's currently busy filming the RCG advertisement in Malaysia too.haihz..tot taht i had one more chance to see him b4 the 930 concert.

the day started like any other day..and i really thought we wouldn't have the chance to go to this concert anyway.and i wasn't thattt interested anymore,since my darling *ahem* Guang Liang ain't there..(haihz..).But in the end,somehow me and Nicole finally convinced me mum and dad to drop us there and pick us up later after the concert ends.Phew!i've never been to a concert without any supervising adults!!and this time i'm in-charge of two bakasarus(Nic and her fren,Su Ann)...eek.hahah,but they weren't that bad in the end,hahaha.Was forced to take an umbrella there cuz it's been raining on a daily basis nowadays over here...eek.

Reached there about 6.40 pm and was surprised to see not thattt many ppl there.I mean,if u compare it to the crowd of the Summer Live Concert..wooh,no where near mannn....!anyway,was glad that we are actually standing right in front of the stage (with rows and rows and rows of VIP seats in front,okay,so i'm not so front anymore..damn the VIPs) and i manage to even like,stand on the fence?!WTF? it was cool anyway.

the thing started at about erm...7.45 pm??(it was supposed to start around 7.30pm...kinda early oso lar for a concert.(concerts like this NEVER starts on time).by around this time,it started to rain a bit,and everyone started opening their own umbrellas!glad i wasn't the only one who brought one!LOL!but by the time i decided to open my umbrella,the ppl around me already opened theirs.and being the shorty me,would be blocking other ppl's view if i opened my umbrella.luckily there was this kinda tall guy beside me who didn't bring an umbrella.so i jz asked him if he's okay if i opened my umbrella.he smiles and nods and says' 'let me carry for u too then...'!Ahh!then i couldn't help but snigger inside..'haha,great deal!!he carries it and i get the shade too!'haha,boy,i'm a smart gal.

So,okay,cut the long story short,some blah from the Ai FM deejays,some blah from the menteri besar or whoever that big shot was,and aah!!guess who performed first??Daniel Lee!hmm..the pinkies on the left of the stage went berzerk as usual..ok,he sang his own patriotic song and 'Mimpi/Fei'.not gonna elaborate on how i felt abt his performance in case i get murdered for it,haha.but it seems like Daniel has grown taller from the last time i saw him!!hahahaha!(mei lin's gonna kill me!)

Next was...*thinks back*Okay,change of plans.Can i jz elaborate on those performances that were more remarkable??and not in order too...cuz i can't really remember the sequence,gomenasai!Anyway,okay,the next remarkable performance was Danny Wen Li Ming's!!(btw,the performance b4 him was some woman who danced to some damn lame song called 'Magic' and also re-sang an old Andy Lau song,never ever heard of her b4 though)

Ahh!!Danny was so cool!!he sang a rap/fast song and even came down to shake hands with the audiences while singing 'Love and Freedom'!!I,of course,got to shake hands with him too!!aahhh!!!!his hand was kinda sweaty though.hahaha....!(His hand was considerably smoother than Eric's,but although maybe that's just because his hand was sweaty..LOL).

Next remarkable performance was Ah Niu's!!hahaha,he was kinda cute and funny in an 'Ah Beng' way.Can't help but feel proud,cuz guess what,he's a Penangite too and what's more!he's from Seberang Perai!!wahh-so near me!!hehhe...!too bad not in BM,hahaha.Anyway,he came out riding a trishaw!!wahhh-damn hilarious!here's a joke from him :

Ah Niu : Ah Niu entau boh?? (am i handsome??)

audience : *yells* ENTAU!! (Handsome!!)

Ah Niu : Ta ma oo kua tiok wa tak lang chia boh? (Did you see me ride the trishaw out just now??)

audience : OO!! (Got!!)

Ah Niu : Lang chia entau ah si Ah Niu entau?? (is the trishaw or am I more handsome?)

audience : Ah Niu!!

Ah Niu : Hahaha,nah si lu kong lang chia entau,wa gia lang chia tim lu ah!! (if you think that the trishaw is more handsome than me,i'll take the trishaw and throw at you!!)

Audience : MUAHAHHAH!

Rasa sayang..heh...!

Damn funny lar him...!then he sang 'Let Me Use Malaysia's Weather to Say I Love You'...haha,he danced a lil' along with the cultural dancers too!then guess what?!he sang our Whaddafrog's theme song,Lang Hua Yi Duo Duo!!how unexpected!!We yell sang along like shiteee!!so loud!!

Hmm..after that,let's talk about Cao Ge then.Wah-i'm kinda glad that he didn't pick anything as yucky as what he wore during the Summer Live Concert in Johor.he wore jeans and a decent blue shirt,decreasing his ape-y features...hahhaha..

although Nic noted suddenly that he didn't shave properly!!his singing skills was great and ah,dunno why i didn't really went ooHaaooHaa over him.LOL.

Next,Lin Yu Zhong.Eeeks.He's damn gay looking.and damn gay sounding.dun wanna elaborate abt him.dun understand why he got the GMA award though.Haha,okay lar,he's got some nice songs too.but considerably,i prefer Cao Ge over him.Dunno why the whole night the deejays kept on teasing him with Yu Heng and Jin Sha.Tsk,tsk...love triangle??haha,one of his fans beside me laughed cuz he wanted to yell 'Lin Yu Zhong,come ou faster,we're now 'lin yu zhong-ing'!!'In case u dun get it,Lin Yu Zhong sounds like 'in the rain' in mandarin.kinda like a pun.hahha,kinda amusing.

Yu Heng is a good singer,but dunno why she kinda over-dressed for this concert.i mean,everyone was just wore quite casually and she had to wear all white and flair-y,like a lil' girl who accidently stepped out of a fairytale.She sang one of my favourite songs from her,'Yi Ran Shi Peng You'.hahah,mei lin must be disappointed that she didn't sing Happy Day.hmm..dunno y she had the priviledge of singing 3 songs.weird.

About now,or smth,they had an interlude where they gave our special presents from the singers themselves,but only five of them though.if i'm not mistaken,they were Daniel Lee,some guy,Danny One (Wen),Yu Heng,Jin Sha,and Tong En.They picked about 6 ppl from the audience (i,as usual,didn't get picked).Daniel Lee gave out a whole bucket of rice!!considering he's from Kedah,the ricepot of Malaysia...haha,it's a reasonable gift.Danny gave out a fruitbasket!!it even had a big durian in it,LOL!the rest were kinda boring and lame,like a batik shirt,an old-fashioned umbrella and erm,sm other things.can't remember.

Jin Sha was okay,i supposed.One of the 2 Taiwanese singers that were invited to perform that night,i would say i prefer Tong En over her.Haha...maybe becuz of her hailing the usual girly image nowadays.Her song,'Unbelievable'is sorta very believable.and i had to admit i actually felt more entertained by the music box dancers look-alike that danced during her song then her singing.hahahaha.... pardon me.

Tong En was kinda good too cuz of the second song she sang that night.damn rocky and chi kek!must go download the song!'Zhi Jue'! Nothing much to elaborate though,although she's really a good singer too.

Aaah,by this time we were getting impatient for Pin Guan to come out.We've never seen him live before and were damn excited to see the ol' Penguin for the first time ever...first came 3 lil' kids brandishing violins and they started playing a very very familliar tune!ah,then the crowd figured out,it was one of Pin Guan's older songs!!we yell and scream and yell for him to come out...(haha,the kids musta felt insulted.)and finally he did!wooh!so so surprised to see him this good!i mean,b4 this he looked kinda terrible;fat,Ah-beng'fied brown hair,and ugly red specs.and now..!wooh!!he cut his hair shorter,dyed it back to black,changed his specs and got on a good diet!he looked jz like how he used to during the Guang Liang Pin Guan era!much much more better!!so glad that we finally saw him live that night.

Suddenly.....the lights on the stage went off.and the two large projection screens came to live.and guess who it was??GUANG LIANG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AWW MANNN!!!of all the times i never expected to see him,he appeared on the screen!!he's jz so good-looking and adorable...encouraging us to be patriotic and thanking us for attending the concert,plus apologizing for not being able to attend it himself.then they aired his WHOLE ENTIRE video of his patriotic song,'Feng Yu Tong Lu'!!!of all the singers that performed live that night,i never really stood tall on the railing of the fence,but suddenly when he was on the screen,i actually DID!!i screamed his name and waved my Jalur Gemilang around like crazy,for someone who was not even really there!the ppl beside me musta thought me mad!!i was just so touched by his song and really almost cried!i really dunno why mannn....jz felt so touched and surprised to see him appear when i dun expect it the most...hahaha...at the ending of his video,it started to rain again..and then i thought,'see?even god is touched!'hahahahahha...!

then came the last performer of the night,Penny Tai.by this time it started raining heavily like shite,but somehow i never bothered to open the umbrella that was with me the whole time this time.i jz wanted to feel the rain on my face that fell from God's hands that day. and it was such a great feeling.i knew how much i enjoyed myself that night...LOL.Nic and Su Ann,being the normal rebellious (maybe the word's too strong to be used here)kids,who had been pestering me not to open the umbrella the whole night thru,felt a whole lot glad that i didn't open it this time.hahaha,but finally when it became slightly too heavy the guy beside me (the one that held the umbrella for me b4 this) asked me to open the umbrella.haha,can't help but to open it this time,LOL.

The whole concert ended with all the singers lined up on stage again,and this time,plus the thank-yous,sang the song 'Zhi Yin Wei Ni' all together.Couldn't really hear what they were singing cuz it was raining like shite,and dad and the rest were there waiting for us already,so everything was getting kinda pek chek.So glad that we waited till the end cuz they set off just SO MANY BRILLIANTLY BEAUTIFUL FIREWORKS that night!!!they filled the whole entire night sky with so many lights and shapes,and everyone jz went 'waaahhhhhh!!!ooohhh!woooww!!'during the fireworks.and i would've think that u're crazee if u didn't if u were there!!they were jz the most beautiful fireworks that i've ever ever seen!!what a nice finale for the great night!!

that was the finale for the concert,but not the finale for us that night jz yet.we all got ready to be busted by mum and all,trying to find a good excuse on why we were all wet from the rain even though we carried an umbrella with us.no regrets from being all soaked,the night was undeniably great.And i guess,'the umbrella ain't big enuff for the three of us' worked pretty well.
