it was 10.35 pm,hui ying smsed to tell me that there's Guang Liang's new MV on NTV7.right after the song,the phone rang.it was ning joe's mum,looking for my dad.Mannn,why suddeness??Dad said that there's a fire around my grandmother's ancient house (it can be better than Cheong Fatt Tze,seriously,loads of antiques there).Mum and Dad rushed straightaway down.

not long after that,my aunt drove the whole bunch of people (my grand-aunt,my aunts,my grandma and a couple of kids) to my house.Mann,heard that the fire was damn bad.almost burning down the whole row of shops.luckily everyone in my family staying there is safe.but soon,they started yelling and stuffs,each raising their voices to tell their own side of the story.started feeling so helpless.Quickly rang Dad to tell him that the whole lot is up here in our house.they must be damn frantic man.

mum said that the road was blocked starting even from where my school is.that is quite far btw...they had to get on their knees to see if the house is safe.mum said that she could feel the heat even from very far away.there was even small explosions,according to some ppl.the firemen were doing their jobs by the time they got there.funny thing is,according to my aunt,they did not even evacuate the ppl out of the shops and houses.my aunt and the whole lot came out by themselves. they just keep wanting to put off the fire.mum and dad came back home not long after that.

someone phoned and tipped that my grandma's house aint burnt badly.everyone said it's fine if it's burned just as long as there's insurance,whch thank god there is.and as my mum said,the house that almost has a hundred years of history doesn't really belong to my grandma anyway.it belongs to some irritaitng old grand-uncle who lives in singapore.(long storyyyyyy.family feuds,dun ask) so they said that there's nothing much to worry about.luckily they took their important stuffs out.grandma looks really shakened.she should be asleep in my room right now.

mann,of all those times i dreaded that place.i actually felt so soree and sad that it nearly got burnt or burnt.i supposed it's kinda like smth that has always been there,and it would be really hard to imagine it being on flames.but still,thank god that my whole family is safe.

maybe i should really get a bag packed with all my important stuffs ready one day.so perhaps,if....it ever happens to me,i could jz grab that bag,Bubbly and loi fook.but i really hope it will never happen.

Mann..!I'm totallyyy doomed in Physics!and it's only the first monthly test!and Mr OK Sir said that this might be the only Physics in the year that can be scored A.i'm sure to get like G9 for sure!Arrrghhh,doomeedddd!!i hate being in Form 4!

btw,yes,i am NOT blind.I do notice the streeaaamminnggg amount of requests on the tagboard.pls,as u have jz read,this week is my first monthly test in school,and i'm already doing terribly in almost every subject.so,pls be considerate and i promise i'll have something up by the time my tests finish,which btw is THURSDAY!but i won't be studing on wednesday anyway,cuz on thursday there's only one paper,and the most useless subject in the world,EST.Bleh.so,there u go.the moral of the story kids..is...be patient.and u shall get what u asked for.hehehehe.

btw again,Guang Liang is coming to Penang again!!to promote his latest album,which btw,has been bought by me and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDD!!especially disc 2 where there's only the instrumental music of his earlier songs.very nice to go to sleep with!hehhehee...sleep lar!

He will be here on the 14th of April,which is a Friday!at 8.00pm-till i hope it will never end!which means i will be missing my Addmaths tuition!yeahh!!have to finish folding up my lil' paper pianos soon...wanna give them to him!hheheehe....!

ok,that was cherrio.now,there's still addmaths,moral(damn)and chemistry to study.*slumps back into a depressing mood*

Today is a day that's out of the see-computer-see-guangliang-translate-songs kinda day.Cuz i had a yue ding with my frens at my house.Mei lin and Vivien shi-yued cuz they weren't allowed out (went out too much b4 ade,haha).

so,practically,today was LeeHom day.actually we agreed to watch Guang Liang and Jay too,we did,but not as much as Lee Hom lar.Cuz we had TWO LeeHom fans here,as apposed to ONE Jay fan (Carmen) and ONE Guang Liang fan (me lor)We went straight back from choral speaking practice at school at around 12 smth and ordered pizza.We started watching the Lee Hom DVD where he was a guest at a talk show in taiwan.Beginning it was all crap,cuz he and the hosts just crapped in mandarin.hahha,me and carmen just quietly munched on our pizzas and occasionally pointed out how blek Lee Hom looked sometimes,while Ning Joe and Hui Ying just giggled at the screen.I was just only looking forward to the part where what Carmen and Ning Joe speculated was 'SOOO AMAZINGG'.it was the part where Lee Hom could tie a cherry erm...twig?(haha,whatever.)with his tongue.and also twist his tongue 360 degrees and also swallow his tongue.mann,i was thinking,u ppl must be exaggerating.

when the part came,i was like,'hmmph,let's see then'. then i saw it.ok,the cherry twig part was ok,although yeah,i admit,i wouldn't knew how to do it.but when i saw him twist his tongue 360 degrees,MANNN.IT WAS TRUE!not only once,BUT TWO TURNS!!!CRAZEEE!!his tongue is DAMN LONG!!and then the part where he LITERALLY SWALLOWED HIS WHOLE TONGUE,i was DISGUSTED.I mean,wat the heck??what if he accidently CHOKED ON IT????gawd.

Okay,then up next we watched Jay Chou's MV VCD that carmen asked Hui Fong to buy from HK Video.it only cost a tad of RM 26!!(although she somehow charged Carmen a extra RM2,wonder why) mann!2 discs!nice package sumore!Sumore ORI wan!how can be so cheap!?i remember seeing it at about RM 56 at Artist Gallery in Gurney Plaza!wahhhhhh!must be the truck that carried the VCD stocks got hijacked on the way to Tower Records or smth!how can be so cheap??or maybe smuggled from Kelantan where no one knows who the heck 'J Cou' is.hahaha.

So,then,we watched.and watched.and laughed lor.Carmen told us that Jay Chou has a MV for almost ALL of his songs.Mann...where got ppl so free wan??shoot mv for all the songs??yealar,no suprise oso,what else can Jay Chou spend his time on sumore?can't act,can't dance.mah shoot mv lor.hahahaa.we forwarded and skipped the whole disc and concluded that Huo Yan Jia is the best MV.(yes,his mvs were THAT boring)

ok,then finally after that,i finally had a chance to show Guang Liang!!but *sigh*,after watching his latest mvs,they say 'y alwiz watch Guang Liang wan?'MANN!!we only watched THREEEEE of his mvs!!sumore skipped wan!then mah nvmlor,then i put in the Lee Hom MV DVD that Ning Joe brought.wah,that guy.he really murdered Smooth Criminal mannn!He honestly did badly on that song!it was a live performance at somwhere lar,but he seriously should not sing that song at all!then,we saw some of his earlier mvs where he had longer hair and was a bit retard.hahha,not retard-retard,but childish-retard.like jumping everywhere,thru walls,over tvs,over tables,playing with puppets and have this love for showing off his armpitt hair.mann,and i tot he was that kind of guy who was serious in his job.haha,so now i noe even Lee Hom has a crazy side.

that lasted until around 5.and everyone started to announce that it was about time to say bye bye.all the mums came and took back their respective daughters.yeah,i sulked a bit towards the end of the day,cuz yeah,i was feeling.....upset,cuz i din get to show Guang Liang off.haha,but i've got to admit that Lee Hom and Jay Chou's MVs are much more interesting that Guang Liang's.But still,i prefer him more lar.

Okay,jt’s either that I’ve got too much free time in my hands,or too little brains in my head,cuz in this post,I’ve decided to do something a lil’ more graphical and literal.Just some ‘inspiration’ from my last day ‘in’ with my friends the other day,where we watched Jay Chou,Lee Hom and Guang Liang’s videos,I thought maybe I could try ‘comparing’ them graphically and literally for once.Actually I’m against comparing,between anything at all,but this is PURELY just for fun.So,all the Jay Chou/Lee Hom/Guang Liang fans (including myself : me bad,me bad),PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY.I dun want to see any hate comments here,thnx.So…shall we begin?

Comparing theme : #1 : Singing

Jay Chou :

Best Song : Erm…when asked to a secretly-adoring-him-but-in-denial JayHead,I get Anjing,erm,no,I mean An Jing. I totally can’t understand why he has to SLUR when he sings!I can’t get half the lyrics when he’s singing!Is it just his style or is he just practicing how to swallow his tongue like Lee Hom?His raping skills,ooppss..RAPPING skills,well,kinda suxx. Man,saliva all come out ade,but still dunno crap wat.haha.I’ve always told anyone who would listen that Huo Yan Jia would be really nice if he don’t sing in it.(*huo huo huo huo huo huo huo huo*)

Genre : Oklar,his style of music,mixing Traditional Chinese music inside a bit,like Fa Ru Xue,Qi Li Xiang,Huo Yan Jia..well,not bad.Oklar,I enjoy most of his slower songs lar,like Qing Tian and Kai Bu Liao Kou.But I can’t stand his rapping songs.Like no tune lidat.

Musical Instruments : I think he can play the piano,cello,drums,some traditional stuffs and a lil bit of guitar.ya rite.Oklar,credit him for piano and cello,cuz I’ve seen him play them.

Lee Hom :

Genre : This ABC fella’s music,oso mixing traditional Chinese music wan.Hmmph,minus marks for originality!!hahhaha..!nolar,nolar..fine.Forever Love and Kiss Goodbye are nice and sugar-coated.Raised in America,but still claim to be Long De Chuan Ren,wah-u so keng meh?hehehehe… Gai Xi Ying Xiong is realllyyy bad..!Annoying and no tune!only one notable thing in the song,there’s one part where either he or that ‘learn-Chinese guy’ rapped,it really sounded like Eminem.I was like ‘Huh?What’s Eminem doing in this song?’

 

Musical Instruments : I think he can play the piano (haha,Kiss Goodbye’s MV…’OH!&rsquo,the erhu (my grandfather oso can play lor!),violin,drums (a bit kua),and guitar dunno can or not.

Guang Liang :

Genre : Soothing love songs…aaaahhh..his best!!!Boring lor,some might say..well,yealar,a bit.But hey,that’s his kind of music and what he’s best at wat!Absolutely adore songs like Tian Tang and Dou Shi Ni (*the slow version),cuz these two songs are just very simple songs,and yet the music is like a breath of heaven to my ears..(wah-since when I’m so metaphorical?).And Tong Hua and Yue Ding are very kek (impactful) songs,makes you feel like you just wanna go and hug him and say “ok,ok….we’re together now..”(I’m not only methaphorical today,but also very melodramatic).Shao Nian,on the other hand,proves that he not only can write slow love songs,but also a uptempo duet about friendship.

Musical Instruments : Piano!!!Wah-the way he play his piano…so nice!it made me have the biggest regret of my life,not learning the to play the piano properly.But *sigh*,now wanna learn again also cannot,cuz too old ade.Piano aside,I’ve seen him play the kind of traditional Chinese drums during a concert..haha,but of course,practiced specially for that performance only lar.

Jay Chou : The first time I saw his face,I was like,’Eh,why so familiar wan??I’ve seen this before!!’I noe!I noe!He looks like a ROCK!

Lee Hom : Hmm…this guy,well…ABC mah,come back from overseas,more classy lor,looks oso…more…okok,fine..(HomManiacs must be smirking at me by now)…more good looking lor.But,eh,so perfect,sure gay wan.or else if not gay,somewhere…u-noe-where..sure damn..minute wan.hahahaha!He’s damn tall,proven by Ning Joe somehow.Don’t like his armpitt hair.(what a statement.phew.)
