Oh-kay…finally found the time and mood to post smth up.soree to keep you peeps who requested.juz pls be informed that I currently have plenty of projects in my hands and my ‘To-Do List’ is wayyy longgg.But still,be assured,I’m trying to catch up and fulfill all your requests. Okay,so let’s talk about smth new today..Flowers.

#1 The Flower that Very-Nearly/Almost/Most-Probably Wilted but Didn’’t:

Okay-how can I tell you how GLAD I am to be back in BM???I spent in total of SEVEN DAYS A WEEK in Penang,just playing with/looking after Nicolas.Not that I’m finding him really annoying or whatsoever (I still love my cousin bro,ok?)but having him around you so near that you might just turn behind and risk tripping over him is not exactly paradise.And there’s Nic with her stupiak computer.Can’t even use it for 5 minutes without her whining and grumbling ‘I want my computer back’ / ‘I want my MSN messenger to be on!’ / ‘You’re so mean,I want it back’.Urgh.Pls remind me that next time when she once again forgets how ‘boring’ my house is even though I gave her evidently plenty of time on my computer and then she is decidedly-duhh enough to want to come here again,please make sure that I remind her insistingly how ‘bored’ she’s gonna be here so that she won’t come again.That will save me from all the whinings + my pc.So bottom-line for this post : I nearly died out of boredom in Penang and was luckily saved when I came home on Monday.Phew!

#2 The Flower that Bloomed So Brilliantly with FOUR New Petals:

That,everybody,would be Michael Wong ,Guang Liang!!!Yepp,he won FOUR awards at the recent TVB8 award ceremony held in Hong Kong in Dec 3!He was the biggest winner of the night,beating out even the biggest stars in Hong Kong like Eason Chen,Hacken Lee and Joey Yung.So happy for him.The awards he managed to bag were :

1 : Best Music Composer : Tong Hua

2 : Best Composer/Singer (Gold)

3 : Best Top Ten Songs : Tong Hua

4 : Golden Song Award : Tong Hua

I was so happy for him when I watched him get all the awards,his hardwork is finally paying off and he’s definitely gained more recognition in the Chinese music world.Things really turned around for him since ‘Tong Hua’.But I’m sure that’s not gonna be his only golden song,many more to come!I have faith in him.(p.s.:he really looked good in his black suit that night! J)

It has been confirmed that he will be coming back to Malaysia for his nation-wide concert in May,as opposed to what he said in an interview with 988 that it would be held in July...!May…the month of May…how sweet of him!On my birth month!It’s like the greatest birthday gift ever!Okay,besides that,earlier date also mean that I will get to see him earlier but two probs have arised in contrary on that.No.1,earlier date also means there will be less time for me to get my GuangLiangFund to filled up just enough for the tickets.Hopefully his company won’t hike up the price just because he won the awards.No.2,what if in May,during his concert,is also the time where we sit for our mid-term exams??Then,will I be able to make time for it?Will mum and dad allow me to go?I’m praying and hoping and wishing that it will be held on a weekend so that at least someone will be free to take me there.Starting first in Hong Kong on the 29^th of March and then some place else.Dunno why nowadays he’s always in Hong Kong.Hopefully he will still come to Gurney Plaza next year!!I wanna get his autograph on my GuangLiang Book,which by the way,is done!

#3Flowers That were Really Flowers :

Yepp,just completed my job for Goldine.Made 24 stalks of paper lilies and I’m gonna get paid for RM25.Supposed that it’s not bad,rite?But urgh,my hands are a lil’ sore from folding them.Besides that,I have made one pathetic Christmas card which I had no idea who to give it to,and also one pajama-like birthday card for Dad.Okay,so that’s 3 things off my ‘To-Do List’.I still have Michael’s pianos,and lyric-translations,Michael’s Bio in Wikipedia to work on.And the damn printer that just wouldn’t print black.I wanted to print some pics but when it came out,Michael’s hair was white.Nice.Hmmph.

#4 Charmed Flowers :

Nope,not really charmed flowers…but it’s just that we bought Charmed DVD : Full Season 2.And I watched it all,except the last disc.It was fab!Love all the episodes,can’t wait to get my eyes feasted on the Season 1 and 3 DVD…too bad we haven’t bought it yet.

#5 Starry Starry Flowers…

#6 Christmas-y Flowers that might Wilt on the Arrival of horrible PMR results :

Okay…just wanna wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and enjoy your holz while I enjoy (huh) it by waiting for my soon-to-arrive (22^nd to be exact) pmr results.Hopefully it wouldn’t be ‘Twas A Nightmare Before Christmas’. Undoubtedly,it’s gonna be a verryyy Merry Christmas…

I even got his autograph!Yes,that squiggly azimat-looking lines are ERIC LIM JIAN HUI's SIGNATURE.So paiseh..everyone had smth nice for him to sign like banners/pics/album sleeves,but me?A crumpled piece of ticket!I had nth with me at that time,so i just grabbed the ticket and let him sign.He laughed when he saw it..hahaha...

OVerallll : the concert was a great night out.Enjoyed myself very much by screaming and shouting..Yeah!I even met Evelyn there,she sat beside me in the concert.Jaclyn Victor was really wonderful,beautiful voice she's got.And Vick scores nice when he sang Fa Ru Xue.Daniel looks so short on stage..hahaha..!But guiltily,i also went in front to get his pics and scream his name.Luckily i wasn't wearing pink that day.u'll catch me dead in pink when i see him next time.(if i ever wanna see him again)They should really hold more concerts in PISA..not a bad place.The crowd wasn't as big as Summer Live Concert in Padang Kota Lama (of courselar!got Michael mah!),but still,oklar...got air con,got seats...It was a fantastic night.

 

 

 

Yepp...~天下星星*天上星星~..that's the title of the radio drama Michael took part in.Heard his NG clip,so funny!But apparently,it's gonna be really sad.Mann,y do they think that we're a sucker for tear-jerking stories?(or perhaps,maybe I am...haha)He's a pro,when he did smth wrong,he'll try his best to correct it..His 'girlfriend' in the drama is Rachel,some gal from a local group called Muffin(goodness!).And Nic Chong pula likes Rachel oso.and there will be some gal called Cookie in the drama that likes Michael but he of course loves Rachel.Eric Lim (yepp,he's in too!)pula likes Cookie.Most probably Rachel will be involved in an accident and Cookie will somehow die.*sigh*How confusing and soppy.And then,Michael will daydream in the drama saying that he wants Rachel and him to somehow get married in front of cups of coffee?? Dunnolar,that's what i made out when i heard the NG clips.Btw,Michael is gonna act as Yu Heng's bro!Hhahaha!Yu Heng pula will like Nicholas Teo.Goodness,talking about a screwed life.

Please tune in to 988 (penang : FM 94.5 / ipoh : FM 99.8) at 10 pm every night for two weeks,starting from Monday (19th Dec 2005) onwards if you wanna find out why on earth these ppl have such complicating love lives.

Okay..call it the retribution from all the times I tolerated Pn Izyan and her 'ways' by not standing up and tell her face to face to just SHUT UP or perhaps it's because the examiner that marked my papers got married and was realllyyy happyyy because she can finally fulfill her lusty fantasies after 30 years of being single.But anyway...I did it.I managed to nick 7 A's(that's straight!/bullseye!/hole-in-one!,okk?) in PMR.Amazing,or rather,amusingg...if someone was to grade me using the Hogwarts system,mine was sure to be 'Exceed Expectations'.

I wasn't even a tad worried the night before (though I was more anxious about the stupid singing/snoopy-giving contest from Michael on 988 which by the way I didn't even manage to GET THRU!!Why won't anyone in the studio have the normal/commonnn manners to even PICK UP THE DAMN RINGING PHONE!!I called for ONE WHOLE HOUR,btw,without anyone picking it up!DAMNNN..!),(though I slept only around 3 after rolling in bed for hours,weird eh?),it felt like it was something that I have left behind,lying in a small pathetic corner of my brain,very much ignored.

Got up a tad earlier than the usual 11-o'clock-oh-gawd-yes-I'm-a-pig routine,and showered(ok,ok..nth interesting there,got it..!).then Maan Yuan called up and everything changed.she listed the peeps that apparently went to school and got their results (straight A's~!).Yael was there,Hui Ying was there,Ning Joe was there..damnn,almost everyone i know was there.I got really shook up and ---cried--- choked on my own saliva(huhh??!!)A question kept on ringing in my ears "what if I don't get it??".I was seriously anxious and shaking.

The journey to school (the thing that is almost synonymous to hell,and which by the way,is the place that i'm about to be banished into again soon) was terrible.I was gripping on my own knuckles till the grew white (figuratively) and cold (literally).and Dad was like 'hey,I dreamt that you've got 7 A's last night'.I was like 'oh mann...what if i don't???'

Reached school in a really nervous state and hurried to the old hall.Saw Izyan with her usual 'I'm-Grim-Reaper's-Best-Friend' kinda look,sitting a chair with a desk in front of her.I peered over the papers but saw only my details.'sign first,sign first'.'CHIU!!'how i noe worrr??Can't you just give me my damn results??

I AM IZYAN's BEST FRiENd

after signing or rather,scribbling some worms attempting to imitate my name,her skeletal face suddenly broke into a huge smile (which is overwhelming for her standards) and extended her hand towards me.'Congratz,you've got straight A's'.Whoahhhh!Can't help but stare at the result-slip.All A's!!and with my name on it!!WooHOO!!the nightmare's over.Finally!boy,am i relieved...!

so,ok...7 A's does really make a difference.Received some 'rewards' that could really raise my GuangLiangFund to its objective....hehe....I've got about RM500 now..So,VIP tickets shouldn't be a prob,eh??Hehehheehee...!And also..Uncle Cheah actually bought me a handphone.Yepp...I now have my very own personal handphone which i don't really know what to do with.Well...enjoy yourself,you've earned it...(not!!)After all these..I actually don't really know if i really do deserve it.But i know i didn't do my best this year.It was a lil mix of luck,good retribution and my hard work (hey,i did study,ok?).But anyway..I thank God for it and I'm certainly not complaining.Thank you,dear examiner,for getting married on the day you decide to mark my paper.I'm sure you'll live happily after.

By the way,no..the title is just a mere metaphor for erm..I'm not sure what...and no,i'm not gonna risk my life walking over the refractions of sunlight through some raindrops just to get a plastic-pot full of gold-paper-wrapped-coin-shaped-lousy-cheapskate chocolate.



I'd just rather walk to the fridge now and get myself a nice,fat round Ferroro Rocher.
